The traditional route for scanning your vehicle is by using a handheld obd tool. However, here we’re going to cover a much newer, more convenient, and cost effective method to monitoring your vehicle’s computer system… from the palm of your hand (literally).
Some of today’s best obdII Bluetooth adapters will allow you to monitor your vehicles sensors, RPM’s, speed, power input, power output, temperature of your engine, transmission, and other fluids, you’ll be able to monitor for any faulty codes that come-sup.. and most importantly, you’ll be able to do quick scans for quick diagnostics.
For diagnostics one will need some technical knowledge but for using the device for real time data display as digital dashboard is an alternate use.
See my video of real time drive data recorded from my android phone screen.
