I bring to you some very interesting common platform Cars across some major car manufacturers. It is common practice to share popular Car platforms among car manufactures.
Mostly, the body/platform remains same while the engine, transmission, interiors, & even external looks vary making it difficult to link to each other. However, the following images will prove this wrong:

Well, 4 models but actually two owners; Opel (Germany) & Vauxhall (UK) are General Motors brands while Maruti Suzuki (India) is Indian Subsidiary of Suzuki (Japan). Ritz could not be launched as Splash in India as the Car Model name "Splash" had been registered by GM in India (Though GM does not have any plans to launch any car YET by that name in INDIA).
